What are the uses of electric ball valves

Electric ball valves are used for incompressible fluids. The selection of electric ball valve for incompressible fluid is mainly based on its ability to prevent sudden closure due to reverse flow when closing, resulting in unbearable high impact pressure. This type of valve is usually considered as the low pressure drop valve only in the second step. For this electric ball valve, the first step is to evaluate the required closing speed, and the second step is to select the type of electric ball valve that can meet the required closing speed.

The electric ball valve has a conical perforated basket shaped part, and the internal part is used to support the matched diaphragm. The valve is installed between two flanges or pipe joints on the pipe. The fluid medium passing through the cone lifts the diaphragm from its seat, and then the medium passes through. When the downstream flow stops, the diaphragm will return to its original shape and close very quickly.

It is worth mentioning that the purpose is to input the purified gas pipeline to the pipeline for processing slurry and colloid medium. In this way, the diaphragm shows high operating reliability and will wear out quickly if other valves are used. The electric ball valve uses corrugated annular rubber diaphragm. When the valve is closed, the corrugated edge of the diaphragm will be plugged into the center of the medium channel.

The downstream medium opens the folded diaphragm, making the edge of the diaphragm retract from the valve seat. Because the diaphragm is elastically tensioned in the open position, and the displacement of the diaphragm edge from the fully open to the closed position is very short, the diaphragm electric ball valve closes very quickly. The diaphragm electric ball valve is more suitable for various medium flows.
